2012 Australian Training Course Information
As customers become more tech-savvy, their service expectations of technicians also increases. So to meet the rising demand for digital entertainment and technologies, Matchmaster and its Registered Training Organisation partners, have developed a series of new accredited TV Reception Training Courses to help technicians to gain the knowledge and skills needed.
Matchmaster Digital TV Reception Training Program
Matchmaster has been delivering industry trusted and approved training for over 15 years. Our Program continues to provide installers with the theory and practical knowledge to service the field with confidence.
Australian Government Antenna Installer Endorsement Scheme
Recently, the Government made changes to the television industry by setting firm dates for switching off analog transmitters. As part of the transition to digital-only services, and in consultation with industry, the Government has also set up a non-mandatory Antenna Installer Endorsement Scheme. To achieve Endorsement under the Scheme, installers must first register and then undertake an online assessment of their technical knowledge. The Matchmaster Training Program aims to educate installers in order to help them get through the online assessment and attain their Government Endorsement under the Scheme. For further information on the Antenna Installer Endorsement Scheme visit the Digital Ready website:

Registered Training Organisation Accredited Courses
The Matchmaster Training Program has been developed based on the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF). This requires training to be delivered under the competency based methodology and will therefore ensure the knowledge and skills are assessed to a high standard.
Matchmaster in conjunction with its Registered Training Organisation partner, Skills Connect Australia (a division of the Electrical & Communications Association), delivers Certificate II and III in Digital Reception Technology. Matchmaster offers the core technology competencies for digital terrestrial reception covering terrestrial and satellite platforms, through the digital TV reception training programs. Skills Connect Australia will then deliver the balance of competencies to enable the learner to achieve Certification.
